Ispat Alloys, Balasore, won the Inter-District Club Football Championship, defeating Barbil Football Association, Keonjhar, 1-0 in final at Satyabrata Stadium here today. John Tudu scored the all-important goal in the 68th minute. Orissa Olympic Association secretary Asirbad Behera handed over the trophy at the closing function.
Balasore team`s Debasis Mohanta, Kuna Singh and John Tudu bagged the prizes as best goalkeeper, best mid-fielder and best forward of the tournament respectively. The best defender award went to Sanjib Lakra (Barbil FA).
